The HAPI8 Transistor Preamp is an 8 channel microphone preamplifier. The device consists of 8 independent audio paths constructed using discrete elements only. The inputs and outputs are transformer balanced. Lundahl transformers on inputs, OEP transformers on outputs. Each channel with independent GAIN settings as well as +48V, Pad -20dB, and reverse phase switches. The front panel is equipped with a large VU meter along with a switch indicating the channel the meter should represent.
